'Starburst' is a hybrid between Crassula ausensis and Crassula pyramidalis, made in 1967 by Myron Kimnach in the USA.
In 1987 it was introduced by International Succulent Introductions (ISI) with their reference number ISI 1749, but it is still very rarely seen in succulent collections.
The lovely shaped and compact growing square columns will develop side shoots from time to time and can flower at the end of a full grown column.
In my experience it needs some more waterings during the season than average to keep it growing and to maintain green leaves.
